I told my husband about this yesterday, and warned him that women might start following him around and asking for rides in our Honda.
What I can't stand thinking about is all of the metal and other resources that were wasted in making all of those Hummers and other SUVs that are standing on the car lots now. Even here, in bonehead Wyoming, small cars (and many Prius) are starting to outnumber the big trucks. But I do pity the ranchers, who use them for work.

Hi Juti--I agree with you. I wonder if those remaining hummers will be scraped, or if someone will swoop in and buy them while they can. At least GM may discontinue the entire line--let's hope they do.
